Understanding the Impact of Compassion Fatigue: When Helping Hurts workshop is designed to bring awareness to the systematic impact of Compassion Fatigue through the Compassion Stress Cycle, offer a safe space for helping and healthcare professionals to learn strategies for staying present with the suffering of clients, and to assist our front -line workers in providing from a full well of compassion rejuvenation.
The Compassion Stress Cycle will be used to provide a framework for understanding the progression of Compassion Fatigue.
The Invisible Injury: Understanding the Impact of Complex Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder:
Intense trauma informed care workshop which incorporates instruction, individual reflection, small group discussion pairs (virtual break-out sessions), large group discussion, and role plays to offer participants the training and support needed to take a more trauma sensitive approach in their day-to-day interactions with children and adults.
Explore the role of power, privilege, and oppression in the experiences of those impacted by trauma and provide strategies for addressing these dynamics.
Healthy Minds, Healthy Organizations: Calm Minds In the Workplace:
A program designed to support organizations in taking a proactive approach at the individual, team, and organizational levels to combat organizational burnout. Assessments are available to evaluate the impact of the 3 levels of burnout on the organization to help catch staff burnout upstream in an earlier phase. Workshops are available to create safe spaces that will increase organizational awareness about the systematic impact of emotional exhaustion, workplace stress, and burnout. Staff will learn how to build a foundation of self-awareness and self-compassion, recognize and honor their capacities and limitations, and integrate their various roles to experience the work-life satisfaction and fulfillment desired.

External messages received from family and society can have an impact on emotional development, including how emotions are processed. I Can’t Keep Calm is a workshop designed to bring awareness to the purpose emotions serve in our lives as well as learning to use, enjoy and coexist with them in healthy ways.

Take A Pause Meditation Sessions
The “Take A Pause” series are 15 minute weekly meditation practice sessions created due to increasing concerns from company leaders about the compounding stressors at work, home, and community causing compassion fatigue and burnout for their staff. During these weekly sessions, we create a safe, calm, and relaxing space for professionals to have a regular moment to pause in the work space and normalize the practice of re-centering and regrouping for the work ahead.
